The v.lab rubber testing laboratory of Vietrubber was established in 2010 with the aim of enhancing product quality and meeting customer requirements.
The v.lab of Vietrubber was accredited to ISO/IEC 17025:2005 based on the existing ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 certifications that Vietrubber had obtained in 2008 and 2009, respectively.
From its inception, v.lab was accredited by the Vietnam Bureau of Accreditation (BoA) — under the Ministry of Science and Technology — for 12 test parameters. Over the subsequent three years, an additional 9 parameters were accredited.
With 21 internationally accredited test parameters, v.lab has enabled Vietrubber to continue researching and manufacturing high-quality technical rubber products.
The v.lab rubber testing laboratory was established in 2010 with the mission of improving product quality and fulfilling customer needs.
It has been accredited to ISO/IEC 17025 since 2010 (VILAS 446) by the National Accreditation Body (BoA) — Vietnam’s sole national accreditation organization — and currently maintains accreditation under the latest version, ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
Currently, v.lab is accredited for 21 test parameters, including:
- Compression set
- Tensile strength at break
- Tensile stress at 100% and 300% elongation
- Elongation at break
- Tension set
- Dynamic fatigue
- Mass change due to liquid immersion
- Dimensional change due to liquid immersion
- Change in tensile properties due to liquid immersion
- Aging resistance
- Rubber-to-metal bond peel strength
- Resilience (rebound)
- Tear strength
- Hardness
- Abrasion loss
- Specific gravity
- Shrinkage
- Mooney viscosity
- Stress relaxation parameters
- Pre-vulcanization characteristics
- Rheological properties
v.lab serves as the company’s strategic research unit, driving innovation projects and product development initiatives.
